San Diego, California. Fall 2021 – Current. My duties included teaching a variety of technical theatre classes, as well as designing the sets, lights, and sound for departmental productions. I oversaw student and faculty safety and advised administration on matters of technical theatre safety and planning.

My responsibilities include teaching Acting, Directing and Dramaturgy at the high school level, directing departmental productions, curriculum mapping, and oversight of theatre programs at the Middle and Lower schools. (Woodward Academy enrolls approximately 2,800 students K-12)

Tampa, Florida. Spring 2003 – Spring 2007. My responsibilities included the artistic programming of the theatre company. Additionally, I was responsible for directing productions, and supervising the design and technical elements of the productions.

Chicago, Illinois. Spring 2007 – Fall 2008. As the technical director I oversaw the technical elements, from design to implementation to execution in a dozen 4 and 5 star hotels in downtown Chicago. My duties included designing lighting and staging to meet client needs and budgets, planning and organizing the technical requirements for all shows and meetings in large scale, five star hotel properties. I was responsible for training and developing the skill sets of the technical staff, setting up and operating of advanced lighting, sound, stage, and rigging equipment, as well as, supervising multiple crews of technicians.
Lighting Designer
Entertainment Technician. Walt Disney World
Orlando, Florida. Fall 1998 – Spring 2000 & Fall 2003 - Spring 2005. My duties at Walt Disney World included lighting design for special events, concerts, and corporate general sessions in hotel ballrooms, theatres and throughout the parks; serving as master electrician and stage technician, and running daily Magic Kingdom shows. I served as crew chief leading large crews, managing schedules, payroll, training, and safety; working with vendors to order gear; and managing the install for the event. Additionally, I served as a Show Support Technician, managing inventory, repairing gear, and supporting The Magic Kingdom and Epcot’s shows and events from the entertainment warehouse.
